Monika Malo

Monika Malo is originally from the Santa Cruz Mountains in California and has been enjoying Switzerland for over four years. She is impassioned by all kinds of sports, particularly those involving mountains and/or water. She is an All-American swimmer, has worked in the Swiss Alps, interned at the WHO, and currently works in a teashop alongside her studies. Creative culinary endeavors, advising about and selling tea, and walking along the banks of Lake Geneva with her partner are what she enjoys most. She has a BA in Sociology from UC Santa Cruz and is currently pursuing a Masters in Counseling in Geneva.

Eva Selhub

A staff member of Harvard Medical School, Dr. Selhub served from 1999 until the end of 2007 as Medical Director of Mind/Body Medical Institute founded by the pioneer of mind/body research, Herbert Benson, MD. And now part of the world reknowned Massachusetts General Hospital - newly named The Benson-Henry Institute for Mind/Body Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital (BHI). Dr. Selhub now serves as Senior Physician for BHI.
She has lectured throughout the United States and in Europe and trained healthcare professionals from all over the world. As an expert in the stress physiology and the mind/body approach to patient care, she has been involved in the training of healthcare professionals from all over the world. Dr. Selhub’s lectures are based on the mind/body connection, the physiology of stress and coping, their relationship to illness, and on enhancing the love that heals.
Dr. Selhub received her B.A. from Tufts University and her M.D. from Boston University School of Medicine in 1994. She did post-doctoral work in Internal Medicine at Boston Medical Center.

Astrid Stuckelberger

Dr. Stuckelberger, Astrid is a gerontologist and internationally recognized expert in aging.

She is currently a lecturer and researcher at Geneva School of Public Health of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Geneva. After a Bachelor of science on cross-cultural psychology and health with WHO, she obtained a doctorate from the University of Geneva with a population study on ageing differential in Men-Women subjective health.

She has published several books, scientific articles, policy papers and governmental or UN reports and expertises in different aspects of public health, gender differences, aging. Her 2 latest books just published were at a high level of expertise:
- “Anti-ageing Medicine: Myths and Chances” (2008) for the Swiss Federal Department of education and innovation, the Swiss Academy of Medical Science and Technological assessment Switzerland.
She is President of the Geneva International Network on Ageing (GINA) and Chair of the NGO Committee on Ageing at the United Nations in Geneva where she is a permanent representative of the Society of Psychological Studies of Social Issues (SPSSI, USA based) and the International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics (IAGG).

Didier Locca

Cardiologist

Dr Didier Locca is a Swiss Medical Doctor specialist in cardiology. He was trained in Switzerland and in London where he received a dedicated training in advanced cardiac imaging and intervention. He is currently a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology. and his main research interest include cardiac interventions and imaging as well as cardiac regenerative medicine. He is currently part of international research projects in the field of cardiac repair using cell therapy and he is one of the directors of an international imaging cardiac course dedicated to specialist in interventional cardiology.
