It is one of Jackson's most critically acclaimed songs and it was nominated for Record of the Year at the Grammy Awards. Listening to the song and the words, the meaning behind the Man in the Mirror certainly had a deeper message for Michael Jackson as it also can have for each of us, man and woman.
